UBI總裁王長怡博士獲邀在日本東京 第四屆疫苗開發及免疫研究之會議做大會演講

Dr. Chang Yi Wang, CEO of UBI (United Biomedical, Inc., Hauppauge, NY), has been invited to address a plenary session of the 4th World Congress on Vaccines and Immunization in Tokyo, on Friday, October 1. She will introduce UBI's core technologies for therapeutic vaccines. UBI has applied a set of core technologies based on designer synthetic immunogens combined with complimentary vaccine formulations to develop revolutionary therapeutic vaccines for HIV, allergy, and Alzheimer's disease, and veterinary vaccines for foot-and-mouth disease and for immunological castration leading to growth promotion in livestock. The rapidly growing field of immunotherapy holds clear promise for the development of new treatments for cancer and many chronic diseases. These UBI advances are tangible fulfillments of that promise.

The UBI therapeutic vaccines work by mobilizing the patient's own immune system. They provide immunotherapy by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies that are precisely targeted against the molecules responsible for disease. The high specificities of the UBI immunotherapeutic vaccines are expected to result in high efficacies with few adverse effects. The company is entering the Alzheimer's disease and prostate cancer therapies into clinical trials in China. UBI's veterinary vaccines will be in the market ahead of the human immunotherapies. The UBI vaccine for foot-and-mouth disease, developed in conjunction with subsidiary UBI-Asia (Hshin Chu, Taiwan), has been licensed for sale in China, the largest swine market in the world, with approval pending in Taiwan.
